Scientific Interests
  • Synthesis of bioactive hydrazines and hydrazones, amines and amides with 3d metals and their physicochemical properties. Study of the influence of solvents on the complexation of amides, amines, hydrazones, bicyclic biureas (psychotropic drugs) using the AM1 quantum chemical method. Coordination compounds of metals with hydrazides of pyridinecarboxylic acids, hydrazones of aliphatic aldehydes and aminopyridines and their derivatives. Synthesis of coordination compounds of some biometals with dimethylsulfoxide, N,N-dimethylformamide, urea, acetylamide and their derivatives and investigation of their physical and chemical properties and structure. Chemistry of metal coordination compounds of hydrazides, hydrazones, methyl derivatives of aminopyridine with high physiological activity. On the basis of obtained results, the identification of the coordination abilities of selected organic ligands and the synthesis of new mixed-ligand double and bimetallic coordination compounds of biometals. Determination of the perspective of the theoretical and practical use of the obtained complex compounds.
