• The interests of our research are: the current state of production of manganese ferroalloys and the investigation of rational technological schemes for their adoption; Physico-chemical bases of silico-manganese smelting, technology and main directions for increasing production efficiency; Investigating and determining the optimal composition of silicomanganese, which ensures the increase in the beneficial use of manganese; Determining the optimal amount of waste from own production in the silicon manganese smelting furnace and their impact on increasing the beneficial use of manganese; study of the effect of aluminosilicates of alkali metals on manganese and silicon recovery processes; Rational use of local, high-ash coals and its influence on extraction rates of useful elements in metal.
