• Study of microbial biodiversity of Georgia
• Isolation of brewing yeasts from endemic grape varieties common in traditional viticulture regions of Georgia and study of their properties for use in winemaking
• Research of lactic acid and propionic acid bacteria of traditional Georgian dairy products (Matsoni, Tushuri Guda, Tenili cheese) and study of production technologies of these products
• Study of lactic acid bacteria isolated from the gastrointestinal tract of domestic chickens selected in different regions of Georgia for the development of the homoprobiotic preparation’s production technology for its use as a feed supplement for chickens
