• The field of scientific research conducted by me in the field of tourism and hospitality covers topical issues of tourism development theory, practice and policy in Georgia and the world. Namely: tourism economics and policy, tourism business; the impact of tourism on the environment and natural resources; sustainable development of tourism and hospitality and circular economy; general and economic security of tourism; professions of the tourism education system; issues of tourism sector management in crisis situations (ecological, political, economic crises); the role of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and innovative processes in tourism and hospitality. The results of research on the above topics are reflected in the books published by me, in Georgian and foreign scientific journals and collections of conference reports.
